Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Artscape team members to support the planning and execution of various arts and cultural programs and events.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and file management, to ensure smooth operations within assigned departments.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional materials, such as social media content, newsletters, and event listings.
  • Participate in the coordination and logistics of exhibitions, performances, workshops, and other artistic initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on arts-related topics, identifying trends, best practices, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Support community engagement efforts, liaising with artists, participants, and stakeholders to facilitate collaborations and foster relationships.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of Artscape facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for artists and visitors.
  • Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in arts administration and cultural management.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and reporting of program outcomes, gathering data and feedback to assess impact and inform future initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in arts administration, cultural management, fine arts, or a related field.
  • Passion for and understanding of the arts and culture sector, demonstrated through coursework, extracurricular involvement, or relevant experiences.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and social media platforms, for communication, research, and content creation.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail in tasks and deliverables.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
