Responsibilities
- Learning and Development: Engage in a structured learning program that combines theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your understanding of laboratory procedures, quality control, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Laboratory Support: Assist qualified professionals in various laboratory functions, including sample collection, processing, and analysis. Follow standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results. Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies to ensure compliance with industry standards. Participate in quality control activities and contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
- Customer Service: Interact with patients and healthcare professionals in a professional and empathetic manner. Provide assistance and guidance in sample collection and address any inquiries or concerns. Ensure excellent customer service delivery at all times.
- Recordkeeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tests performed, results obtained, and other relevant data. Follow proper documentation procedures to ensure traceability and completeness of information.
Qualifications
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Life Sciences as subjects.
- Strong interest in the healthcare industry and a passion for providing quality service.
